When visiting the cafe you may be greeted outside or on the deck by our very friendly dog Nova 🐶🐕 He loves pats, tummy rubs, and sometimes posing for photos 👀📸 He is a very good boy and loves making new friends 🫶 Our cafe is dog friendly (outside only) and you can even take your dog for walks through our garden (entry $10pp) for some beautiful scenery after lunch at the cafe 🪴🍽️☕️ As always just make sure they are under control & pick up after them so our gardens stay clean 🙌 (note: dog rules are different during our events such as Blossom Valley)

☕️Updated menu + a new kids menu! 👦 Based on your feedback we’ve added notes on dietary options so you know what you can order as gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan 🌱 Ones made on request will be with substituted items 🍜 Our kids menu has some delicious options for families wanting to escape the city & and enjoy the lovely garden setting we have out here in Kaitoke 🪴Come in and give the new menu items a go and let the chef know your feedback as we would love to keep adapting & improving 🙌

P.S make sure to take a wander around the garden centre to the right of the cafe when visiting for some of the most affordable prices in Wellington on plants & trees! 🌲 🪴

🕯️ So.. what do you do when the power is out in Kaitoke?.. Candlelit dining! 🥰🥘🕯️ Luckily gas cooking meant this group on a 'Lord of the rings tour' could have an even more 'on theme' lunch today! 🕯️ Fingers crossed the power comes back on soon - thank you to the crews working to get the trees & power lines sorted! 🥰 Sure has been a wild weather time in Wellington! 🌿 See you tomorrow! 😇

🚨POWER OUTAGE - CLOSED TODAY 😢 with all the bad weather over the night there has been a power outage in kaitoke which isn't expected to be fixed until midday ⚡ Unfortunately this means we won't be open today 😢 Tomorrow we will be back up and running good as new 🙏🏼

Mmm.. new menu french toast is delicious! 🥰 Plus we have savoury cabinet options, and vegan chocolate cake! 🌿☕️ Warm cheese scones, toasties, and a range of new menu items are available this weekend - oh and great coffee! ☕️😇 Come stay warm by the fire, 8am - 3pm Saturday & Sunday 🔥 We will be closed Mon/Tue for winter, open Wed - Sun 🌞
