These past couple days we've had some customers come in and tell us we're the number 2 best fish and chip shop in Wellington. We have just found the post and want to thank everyone for their votes and support!
We couldn't have done it without you guys and our amazing young team!
Hopefully next time we can reach number 1!

An Update with Gratitude & Our Final Day

To our incredible community,

Your overwhelming love and support since our announcement have left us truly speechless. The visits, messages, and memories you've shared mean more to us than words can express. Thank you for making these final weeks so special.

We wanted to let you know that our last day of service will be Friday, February 13th, 2026. Please come by for one last meal, one last smile, and a proper goodbye.

While we say farewell to this chapter, our story isn't over. If and when we find a new home, we will announce it first on our official page: Rice Bowl Burger Bar. Please follow us there to stay connected for future updates.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being the reason we loved coming to work every day since 2009.

With all our thanks,
The Team at [Rice bowl burger bar]
Serving you until February 13th, 202
