Every day throughout the festival, we'll share a new Secret Sign on our Instagram stories. Learn the sign, use it when you order your More Than Words burger, and you'll get a serving of FREE fries!

It's a simple way to learn something new, spark conversations, and support a more inclusive Aotearoa, one burger at a time.

For every More Than Words burger sold, we'll donate $1 to Deaf Aotearoa to help support the incredible work they do across Aotearoa.

This Wellington On A Plate, we're celebrating the power of communication in a way that's a little different.

It's inspired by this year's Word Of Mouth theme, but instead of using words, we're inviting people to learn and use New Zealand Sign Language every day during the festival - and beyond.

We're really excited to be collaborating with Deaf Aotearoa to introduce the More Than Words burger.

Oliver and the team from Deaf Aotearoa came in to try the burger and take you through how it works.

Here's how:

1} Learn the Sign Of The Day on our story

2} Use it when you order your More Than Words burger

3} Sign correctly and score free fries!

The burger:
Beef patty, garlic pickles, Kāpiti gruyère, kimchi ketchup, and hot honey aioli in a Pōneke Bakery brioche bun.

With every More Than Words burger sold, we're donating one dollar to Deaf Aotearoa to support their mahi across NZ.
