Le Marché Français Deli is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic cheese lover to join our team! 🧀🛍
One of our staff members is leaving, so we’re looking for someone reliable, bubbly and versatile to join us for the long term.
🧀 About the role
Starting Monday 28 September 2026:
📅 First two weeks – 28 September to 11 October
✔ Work at our shop on Thorndon Quay Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 2 PM
✔ Take care of our Harbourside Market stall on Sunday, from approximately 6:30 AM to 2 PM
📅 From Monday 12 October onwards
✔ Work at our shop Tuesday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM
✔ Work at our Harbourside Market stall on Sundays, from approximately 6:30 AM to 2 PM
➕ Extra hours may be available depending on workload, including special events, fairs and festivals.
The role will include:
✔ Serving customers and helping in the shop
✔ Looking after our Sunday market stall and selling our delicious cheeses 🧀
✔ Preparing and delivering orders around Wellington
✔ Assisting with the day-to-day running of the deli
✔ Helping with events, fairs and festivals
✔ A variety of other tasks - no two days are necessarily the same!
🔸 Requirements
🔸 A valid work visa
🔸 A valid driver’s licence
🔸 Availability for the full schedule, including Sundays
🔸 Ideally, a commitment of at least 5 months
