It used to be part of the tradition of galley kitchens to clean the smokestack till it shone, and to clear out the soot they used to fire a pistol up there. We use fire in a different way - aging our meat and cooking it over fir

e pits to give it a wonderful taste. Enjoy a state of the art bar with new and traditional cocktails, a brilliant wine list and even a raw bar. Bookings available on Sundays only, or anytime for groups of more than 8 people.

Think all you can eat. Think chefs carving, shucking and serving as you flow through our kitchen.

Think some of the best products NZ and our coastline has to offer.

$150pp - a smorgasbord of entrees delivered to the table. Followed by buffet-style self-service up in our kitchen where our chefs will be plating and carving for you then and there.

You better believe there's a dessert station too!

Price is all inclusive of all non-alcoholic beverages.

Twice cooked beef cheek with saffron risotto, gremolata & a herb salad.

Our new veggie & vegan dish is roasted eggplant with cannelini & cashew puree, a watercress, caper & pinenut salad, plum glaze & crostini.

For the 3rd Bluff season, we as a restaurant, have made the decision to not stock Bluff oysters.

We try to use & showcase the very best products NZ and our suppliers have to offer.

We know we are not alone in this decision.

Following a decline in the quality of oysters, we are confident in our choice to shuck others from around the country.

We believe in sustainability where possible, and not playing a part in dredging the seabed in the Foveaux Strait for a lesser product is a part of that.

We hope that Bluff oysters can be enjoyed for years to come and commend Depot in Auckland, and other restaurants for doing the same.

🎆✨️ A very Happy New Year from *most of our wonderful team.

Much like all the years before, 2024 had its challenges. We feel like we say the same thing on repeat, but thank you to everyone who helps us bring about our service 363 days a year.

To our suppliers and couriers. To the some of the best curators of meat, produce, wine & beer in the country that we are honoured to be partnered with. To our wonderful team over for all the work they do behind the scenes for us, despite being successful and busy every darn day themselves.

To our team. We've onboarded more staff this year than ever. Their hard work, consistency, and commitment to our restaurant is a delight to behold. To the team members that sadly left us in the last 12 months, we wish you all the best in your new adventures.

And to our loyal guests and friends. We simply would not still be where we are without you. Your unwavering support through some of the toughest years and climates means we go into our 12th year of operation. From our ticketed events to a flying visit for lunch to choosing us to celebrate your special occasion. Thank you.

We hope you enjoy the rest of the holiday period and look forward to welcoming you in again soon.

We are open every night from 5pm for dinner service until Jan 13th when our usual lunch service begins again.

We hope you have a restful few days and look forward to inviting you in again soon.

From Dec 27th to Jan 12th, we are open for dinner only from 5pm. We resume our regular lunch service again Jan 13th 2025.
