Goodbye & Thank You.

A big thank you to all those who over the years who grew the food we served, those who supplied & delivered it, those who made the wine and brewed the beer, and those that sold it to us, those who collected the rubbish and recycling, emptied the grease trap.
Thank you to health inspectors and licensing officers, and everyone else involved in making the wheels of operating a restaurant go round.

Thank you to everyone who chose to dine with us, especially those of you who we’ve seen many many times over the years.

But most importantly THANK YOU to every single team member who has been part of the journey, it’s been an honour to have your name associated with this restaurant from the Bistro years through to Daisy’s.

After 8 years, we are going to be closing the doors of our neighborhood eatery, with the last day being the 29th of March.

We’ve been proud to have celebrated amazing growers, suppliers and producers over the years, as well as a bunch of incredibly talented team members, all while representing our little corner of this city.
It has been a privilege to be part of so many people’s special occasions, as much as it has been to be a casual place to drop in for locals, we thank you so much for your support.

It‘s no secret that times have been particularly challenging for restaurants as we mark 5 years since the first covid lockdown and all the turmoil politically and economically since then, that continues to impact this city and the industry to this day.
No one could have predicted this or really have been prepared for it, it’s been a hell of a ride that we have navigated to the best of our ability but its time for the journey to end.
It has absolutely taken its toll on us, running restaurants means spending every working hour thinking about looking after others, it is time we look inwardly and prioritise ourselves, our family and loved ones.

With our lease coming to an end, we feel it’s the right time to step away, proudly on our terms with all obligations fulfilled.

We would really love to see you over the month as we wind things up.

Position Overview:
We are seeking friendly and motivated Front of House Team Members to provide outstanding service to our guests. If you love interacting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to be part of a dedicated team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any guest inquiries
- Ensure a clean and organized dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Front of House role or customer service is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed

Approximately 25 hours per week.
