🌱 We’re trialling a new plant milk to provide as part of our offering here at The Custard Pie. 🌱

This milk has been requested a number of times, so we thought we’d give it a go and see if it’s something our customers want us to keep around.

You might be wondering, “What the heck is Tiger Nut milk?!” 😂 It’s not what you’re thinking, unless you’re thinking …Tiger nuts are powerful little nutrient rich root vegetables (not nuts!) that only need rainwater to grow. These are sourced ethically, including from a female farming collective in Burkina Faso, West Africa and then created in Australia. 
This plant milk is free from dairy, nuts, soy and gluten. And yep, it’s FODMAP Friendly certified! Go ahead and enjoy unlimited amounts of our Barista Tiger Nut Milk if you are following a low FODMAP or IBS friendly diet.

A little personal update from us... 🤍

We’re so excited to share that a new little member will be joining The Custard Pie family in just over a month! ❤️

Jeremy and I are expecting baby #4... as if we weren’t busy enough! 😂🤭

Over the next little while, you’ll probably see me around the cart a bit less as I prepare to head off on maternity leave. But don’t panic! I’ll still be working behind the scenes to make sure everything continues to run as smoothly as possible.

You may have noticed a bit more girl power in the cart lately. We’re so excited to have Sophia join us as the newest permanent member of our team, and the lovely Rhi has also joined us as we prepare for this next season. Thankfully, we have the most amazing staff in both our cart and kitchen, and I have complete confidence they’ll keep everything running as usual.

We already know we have the best customers around, as our team grows, we’re so grateful for your continued support while our new crew settles into their roles. 🫶🏼

I’ll still be popping in whenever I can because I know I’ll miss seeing all my regulars and, of course, all the daily banter 😊

Thank you for supporting our little family business. Your support allows us to grow our family while continuing to do what we love, and we’re so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.
