Tavkveri by Pheasant’s Tears, now pouring by the glass.

Made from an ancient grape native to Georgia, hand-harvested and fermented in qvevri - traditional underground clay vessels. Light-bodied, high acid, a bit like a lighter Jura red - think cranberry, sour cherry, wild rose, with a savoury, earthy edge underneath.

Fair warning - one glass in and you’ll probably be asking for the bottle.

A little preview of our birthday features!

To drink we have Tres Años - reposado tequila, bianco vermouth, tonka bean, fino sherry, Rosella mignonette and white chocolate liqueur.

And for desert, white chocolate + yuzu fondant, cream cheese parfait and Rosella powder.

Join us the Sunday at Rosella to hear from husband and wife w**emaking duo Amy Hopkinson-Styles and Olly Styles, the team behind Halcyon Days. Naturally fermented with no additions, their w**es are fresh, energetic and full of character, while always pushing the boundaries of what Hawke’s Bay w**e can be.

We’ll be pouring three Halcyon Days w**es, with our kitchen team putting together matching bites to enjoy alongside them. There are two sittings available, with tickets including all three w**es and food.

Rosella is 3 ❀

Pretty amazing that it’s been three years already.

Three years of good food, lots of w**e, late nights, long lunches and plenty of familiar faces through the door.

A big thank you to everyone who’s been part of it so far. Whether you’ve been coming in since the beginning or only just found us, we’re very happy you’re here.

And obviously, we made a couple of birthday specials.
White chocolate + yuzu fondant, cream cheese parfait and Rosella powder.

And Tres Años — reposado tequila, bianco vermouth, tonka bean, fino sherry, Rosella mignonette and white chocolate liqueur.

Both are on until Sunday 11 October.

New on the w**e list at RosellađŸ· Heliacal Rise by Halcyon Days, now pouring by the glass.

An orange/rosĂ© blend made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir off one organic vineyard in Mangatahi, Hawke’s Bay. The Chardonnay is skin fermented like a red, the Pinot is pressed off straight away like a white. Juicy, textured, a bit of both worlds.

Come in and try a glass!

For $64 per person, you’ll enjoy five dishes including dessert. The menu designed to move at a good pace so there’s no rushing to make the show. We’ll make sure you’re fed and on your way to WOW in plenty of time ✹
