🍜 We’re Hiring! Part-Time Kitchen Hand 🍜
Coco Hut Asian Food Truck has an opening for a part-time evening Kitchen Hand to join our awesome team over the fast approaching busy summer season.
We serve delicious handmade South East Asian food from our super cool food truck, located in Wanaka’s beautiful Food Truck Village beside the creek — think great food, great people, and epic mountain and creek views 🌄
If you thrive in a fast-paced busy environment, bring positive energy, and are keen to build your kitchen skills, we’d love to hear from you!
The role includes:
• Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Basic food prep
• Taking some customer orders (a good level of English is required)
• Opportunity to learn how to help serve food during busy periods
What we offer:
• Immediate start – trial shift this Thursday!
• A super friendly, supportive team
• Kitchen experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person with hospitality experience
• 3 evenings a week, Approx. 5/5.30pm – 9.30pm.
• Evenings will be Monday, Friday Saturday, with the possibility of more shifts going forward.
• Work available until the end of May 2027.

You must be available evenings and weekends and have a valid work visa/NZ resident.
