It’s finally official ! I have sold Well Bean Cafe. My last day will be this Monday. Come and say goodbye on Monday 9 Feb from 830am. As a thank you to all our amazing customers gor your support over the last four years, we’ll be doing $5 coffees, scones and baking. Plus $10 lunches. There will be free cake and canapés for our regulars and come and meet the new owner Olivia . See you all Monday for one last hoorah 🙌 thanks Naomi

We are looking for a part time cafe assistant (or barista) roughly 15-20 hours a week Mon-Fri 9am-1pm ish. Start immediately. Short term applications (3-6 weeks availability) considered.

Please note: This business is currently on the market for sale, so this role is to support our cafe manager until the business sells and is short term only.

Must be good with customers, serving with a chat and a smile, clearing dishes, washing dishes etc. Our ideal person will also have food prep skills and/or coffee making. More hours may be available if you have these skills. Rate $25 for cafe assistant $28 for barista skilled.

After much consideration, i have decided to move on from owning Well Bean Cafe and in 2026 will take on another opportunity. I have had so much joy over the last 3+ years creating amazing food for our customers, serving great coffee and providing an important space for people to connect at the Health Centre.

Proving very popular today was our kūmara and herb cream cheese roll. So it’s back tomorrow- roasted kūmara with herb cream cheese, served on Turkish with rocket, pesto, honey and walnuts. Best served slightly heated 😍
