We are very excited to share the details of our latest Winemakers Dinner. On Thursday 20th August, arc will be joined by Terra Sancta for a night of three courses, plus bread, with wine
pairings at every course.
Terra Sancta - meaning sacred earth - is a beautifully apt name for this New Zealand owned and operated Bannockburn-based winery, who is home to the oldest vines in this revered sub-region of Central Otago.
The region is famed for its pinot noir, and Terra Sancta is no exception. Their Slapjack Block Pinot Noir 2024 was described as “perhaps the greatest Pinot Noir I have ever tasted in New
Zealand” by internationally acclaimed wine critic, James Suckling.
Located on Felton Road, their four vineyards are certified organic and have been farmed regeneratively since 2016. Their vines grow atop limestone, clay, quartz and schist, surrounded
by kanuka and other wild growing natives, rubbing shoulders with the wineries own sheep, hens and goats - Terra Sancta have fully embraced the natural wonder of their little pocket of Otago.
We’re already very excited about this one and we’ll be sharing more details over the coming weeks. Bookings are open now via the arc website, the link is in our bio. Cost is $130 per person. We are offering two sittings at 5:15pm and 7:45pm. Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
We had such a good time hosting many of you for our last Winemakers Dinner. We hope to see some familiar faces, and hopefully new faces too.
