Thank you to everyone that came down last Saturday to collect their photos and trophies. There is still many left and these will be boxed up and given to some of the club members to collate.
We still have other gear of the clubs that we will start to put up for past members 1st to buy or collect as we get to them and then they will be sold publicly.
Keep an eye out, next few items up will be boxed memorial glasses (pics and prices to come), signed and framed band posters (offers over $120), billiard table (offers of around $1,000.00).

Collect your photos and memorabilia tomorrow at the T&C

Just a friendly reminder

Family are invited to collect photos of Life Members and Presidents and memorabilia that has accumulated and featured at the Club.

A couple of the long time members will help us with this and we have organised tomorrow, Saturday 1st Nov from 9am to 12pm, for whanau and members to come pick these photos up.

After this they will be boxed up and removed from the building.

Waitara T&C Update

It is with sadness and regret that the committee announce to you the closure of the Waitara Town & Country Club Inc.

The state of the building along with economic pressures in the last decade has put the Club into the position that its existence is no longer viable.

The Club has been around for just over 70 years. That's 70years of fun-times and 70 years of memories.

The committee is currently working through the process of being dissolved.

Family will be invited to collect photos of Life Members and Presidents and memorabilia that has accumulated and featured at the Club.

We have approached a couple of the long time members to help us with this and we have organised Saturday 1st Nov from 9am to 12pm for whanau and members to come pick these photos up.

After this they will be boxed up and removed from the building.

The Club will be open from 1pm to 5pm. Members and their guest can visit the Club during these hours and utilise the Clubs facilities.

The next Darts Adjunct meeting is this Sunday 21st September 2025.

We do have 3 pool tables and they are free to use. Conditions do apply regarding children.

Function Room Hire.
The Waitara T&C is still taking bookings for functions.

If you know of anyone having an event and looking for a function room to hire, have them approach us to see what can be arranged.

Just to remind you, the Club is open every second Sunday from 1pm to 5pm to host the Darts adjunct.

However, any member and their guest can visit the Club during these hours and utilise the Clubs facilities.

Keeping you in the know.

Just an update of what is happening at the T&C in the interim.
Every second Sunday the Club is open from 1pm to 5pm to host the Darts adjunct.
However, anyone can visit the Club during these hours and utilise the Clubs facilities.
If you are missing out on your Pool fix or catching up with friends, pencil in one of these Sunday afternoons.
The next Darts Adjunct meeting is 10th August 2025.

In the Pipeline
It is hoped that sometime in the not-too-distant future that the Club will open every second Friday – 5pm to close.
This is still a work in progress and you will be advised once final decisions are made.
