Specialty Coffee Roaster Monsoon Coffee Roasters are a specialty coffee roaster based on Auckland's North Shore. It's also a dig at the Big City's weather :).

Our name comes from our love for specialty coffee from India and the many other regions which depend on the monsoon seasons for their rainfall . If you live in Auckland you'll get it. We specialise in online sales to home users and roast fresh for your order every day. We then ship for next day delivery NZ wide. Our coffee is reasonably priced and we also offer NZ's first and only online loyalty point system for roasted coffee. Our roastery in Wairau Rd also has a convenient drive thru to get a takeout coffee.

Our retail store and drive thru will be closed from 11.00am this Friday 31/3 to Tuesday 11/4 (Tuesday after Easter), while we complete some urgent building work. We’ll still be roasting and shipping online coffee orders but you won’t be able to pick them up from the shop so get in early to make sure you have coffee for Easter !

Latest update - we’re still cleaning up after the flood and preparing for a second onslaught forecast for tonight. Once that passes we’ll have a final clean and aim to open the drive thru on THURSDAY 2 FEB. The roaster is currently operational so we’re working our way through the backlog of online orders. Unfortunately with the storm tonight , the upcoming long weekend and courier disruption generally there will be delays.

Looks like we’ve been drowned in the great Anniversary weekend deluge, CCTV tells a sad tale but unable to get across to check how bad. The drive thru will be closed and also all online orders until we can get in on Saturday to assess damage ~ Brett P.S. did you know Wairau means ‘many waters’ . So does Monsoon 😂 got to laugh or you’d cry

🐣 Easter coffee - get those online orders in now if you need it by Thursday, if you’re local you can pick up from the roastery, just make a note in the delivery instructions. And we’re open Saturday 7.30-12.00 (but not Good Friday or Easter Monday) for pick ups. Happy Easter 😊🐣 enjoy the long weekend 🎉

ROADWORKS - DRIVE THRU ACCESS NEXT WEEK
We’ve just been advised by Auckland Transport and Ventia ( they forgot to give us notice - thanks guys 😡 ) that Currys Lane by the Fire Station will be closed for entry to Monsoon for 3 days next week. You can still exit from there as normal. An alternative entry to the drive thru will be via the rear entrance entering into Currys Lane further down Wairau Rd by Bridgestone. As we haven’t been given time to advise all our customers please help us spread the word that we will definitely be OPEN as normal but you will need to make a small detour. Hopefully nobody gets lost.

Well that’s almost a wrap, what a year ! A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our loyal customers and Merry Christmas to you all. We’ll be open for online orders and in the drive thru from Wed 29th to Fri 31 Dec then re-open as normal from Wed 5th Jan. Have a fantastic break and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2022 - Brett, Alex, Marcus, Eva, Krissie, Kaiya, Hamin, Victoria and Charlie 🐶
