Based in Waipū, The Smoldering Hog is a food truck owned and operated by a local farming family who know the value of quality ingredients.

For the past three years, they’ve been serving prime cuts smoked low and slow over pōhutukawa wood. Even the chips get special treatment—cooked in beef tallow.

Tried the brisket. You don’t get meat that melt-in-your-mouth-tender by taking shortcuts. Yeeeeuuummm...👌

You’ll find them serving their local community or catering large events across Northland. Follow The Smoldering Hog Food Truck for their weekly locations.
