Its been a moment since our last little video. So here's a new one...

This was done a couple weeks ago.
Thank you to Jade's mum who edited this video for us. Its was definitely a surprise how it turned out. 🤣
Thanks again, Rose your video editing skills ate great and always intresting to see the end result to what comes to mind.

The Crave Croissant. 🥐

You will have hopefully seen these in our Cabinet.

A croissant created and baked by Crave Bakery.
They are absolutely delicious!
We then make them up with Champagne Ham from New World. Along with sliced tomatoes & Swiss cheese.
Heated up till crispy. 🤤
Perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Have you seen our homespun items in the cafe?
This is where they all come from on family farm. Dad, Steve is hidden amongst the sheep.
While mum, Jo is busy looking at all the gorgeous fleece's on the sheep that will be shorn in October.
Then turned into some unique creations.

Haloumi Salad Bowl.

A special we have had on the past couple weeks. Finally taken a photo.
We will have this on the specials board for a couple more weeks.

Cooked Haloumi with fresh shredded lettuce sprinkled with a Capsicum, Cucumber & Raddish topping. Along side our Beetroot & Qunioa salad.
Finish off with a sprinkled of local grown h**p seeds and a drizzle of our homemade Aioli.

A nice light, fresh meal for lunch.

Mac N Cheese.

Aka Macaroni & Cheese a true classic.
Made with gluten free Macaroni, Bacon, spinach, tomato plus Cheese!
Add a salad too for some extra colour and healthy goodness.

A nice simple meals option to warm you up on a cold day. Can also be for takeaway.

Music is important to build atmosphere or fill in the silence.

At the cafe we try and have a good selection of music playing in the background. Some Playlist are Spotify made while quite a few are created by myself.

🇳🇿 New Zealand - This Playlist is musician's/bands who are from N.Z. These artists range from the popular well known ones to lesser knowing artists. I wanted to create a Playlist that shows off all our local talent.

🎸R.I.P legends Playlist is a Playlist of all those we have sadly lost over the years. They will be forever remembered in their music. Some are well know while some are not so much.

A new sweet treat...

We have have bigger individual bits available on the counter. Now the recipie has been perfected its time to see them in bag form. Along side our Russian fudge that flies out the door.
(If I spelt flies correctly or in the correct context. Since I'm not the best at writing but can definitely nail making Russian fudge)

Let the soup season begin.

Days are getting shorter and colder so now marks the perfect time to start soup.

Photo about is a classic 🍅 tomato soup.

We will try and have a few options available at a time. Leek & Potato and a pumpkin soup are next on the list.
