Mayfair Café & Restaurant

Situated in Central Upper Hutt, a small red door opens up to an expansive space which used to house the Mayfair Theatre in the 1900s.

☕️ Mayfair Cafe ☕️

Step back to the golden era of Coffee and Cinema right here at Upper Hutt’s very own retro vintage movie Mayfair cafè . 📽

🫖 Take a sip, grab a bite and enjoy a moment frozen in time in Upper Hutt’s vibrant history 🍽 Owner Kaushal Adeshara only uses the freshest local produce. Mayfair Cafe combines Kiwi and International style cuisine influenced from all over the world. The BoileRoom W**e bar coined its name being the room that used to house the old boiler that heats the old historic cinema. Like the BoileRoom page too https://www.facebook.com/BoileRoomBar

It is where great food, fine w**e, great coffee, thoughtful service meet people with warmth. Mayfair has a nostalgic ambience that exudes style, history and a café culture with a difference. Fore more info, visit: http://mayfaircafe.com/

At Mayfair Cafe, we're celebrating International Day of Sign Language! 🤟🌍 Communication is connection, and today is a beautiful reminder of the many ways we can reach each other.

We are so proud to support and have this incredible resource in our cafe to encourage the use of NZSL and Te Reo Māori. We invite you to try ordering your next kawhe (coffee) ☕️ using sign language!

Take a look at the poster and practice some key words:
☕ Kawhe (Coffee)
☕ Pango poto (Short black)
☕ Flat white
☕ Tēnā koe (Thank you)

Our team is enthusiastic and ready to give it a go with you, learning along the way! By embracing different languages, we can build a more inclusive community.

Drop by today, enjoy a delicious kawhe, and let's make the world a little more accessible, one sign at a time. Kia kaha NZSL!

🎶 There’s a local who’s sure all that’s roasted is gold, and they’re taking the Stairway to Mayfair. 🎸☕

If you listen very hard, the tune will come to you... and it sounds a lot like our espresso machine hitting the perfect extraction. Ooh, it makes me wonder how we ever survived mornings without this! 🎶

Drop in, rock your daily grind, and get a Whole Lotta Latte love to kickstart your day. 🤘✨
