Ian and I are all smiles enjoying a night on pizzas, just like it all started almost 7 years ago — but we do have some sad news.

With a heavy heart, we want to let you know that Floating Rock Cafe will be closing permanently on Saturday, 18th April.

This was a joint decision between myself and the landlord, and while it hasn’t been easy, it feels like the right time to close this chapter.

We are so grateful for all the support, laughter, and memories shared over the years. You’ve helped make this such a special place, and we will truly miss each and every one of you.

Also a xtra special thanks to all of the past and present staff, I wouldn't have made it through without you! You will forever be apart of my Floating Rock family.

Thank you for being part of our journey ❤️

Hey everyone,

Just a quick heads up that Floating Rock Café will be closed this week while we take some time out for a few family functions.

As always, family comes first, and we really appreciate your understanding while we step away briefly.

We’ll be back soon, refreshed and ready to see all your lovely faces again.

Less than a week to go!!!!

We have local DJ Kris coming to play some tunes so get ready to party!!

Some important info to note...
We will not be taking bookings, it is first in first serve, however we are prepping ALOT of burgers so we should have plenty to go around.

Seating is limited, but space is not, so feel free to bring down a picnic blanket or some chairs to grab a spot on the lawn.
BYO chairs, not beers 😉

Be patient with us! The positive feedback we have received so far means we anticipate a very busy evening! So bring your friends and enjoy some beers and banter while you wait for your burgers 😁
