ChoctoberFest Porirua is back! 🍫

The most delicious festival of the year returns 1–31 October 2026, with amazing chocolate treats made using Whittaker’s chocolate!

We joined some of Wellington’s greatest chocoholics for a VIP tour, visiting t bay cafe, Sushil's Musclechef Café and Gear Homestead 😍

Tītahi Bay Studios and Lounge!

Allie Rutherford is looking for expressions of interest from community minded people who want to be a part of a new Titahi Bay venture 'Titahi Bay Studios and Lounge'. We think this is an awesome idea (and we also have some vested interest!) so sharing details below, be in touch with Allie if interested!

"We are in the process of creating Titahi Bay Studios and Lounge. The site is the Whitehouse Road shops directly next door to the always popular TBay Café. This will be a shared space consisting of:

· A hair salon
· A beauty room
· A bookable private room
· And The Lounge.

The Lounge will be a space that is part board game space and part community space for workshops and hotdesking and gifts. We will also have some mindfulness crafting within this space. $10 to stay and work or play. Under 18’s must be supervised.

We are looking for interest in hiring rooms or shelving for products in our permanent mini market.

Let us know if you are likely to want to use the space for hot-desking?

Do you take small workshops? The Lounge will be perfect. We want workshops happening every weekend if we can. Can fit about 15 people comfortably.

Do you need our private room? For meetings? Consults? Book for one day?

Are you interested in hiring the beauty room for a day? Or the week?

Are you a lash technician, nail technician, beautician, masseuse, Reiki or Rongoā practitioner – bring your ideas to us.

*Senior Chef Wanted!*

We are seeking an experienced senior chef all rounder to join our kitchen team. Ideally we are looking for someone who is ;

A fast learner,
Calm under pressure,
Competent cooking on the line
Gets on well with others at work.
Able to perform or learn prep and baking tasks as required
Able to work weekends (at least one day)
Flexible on covering extra hours and / or rotating shifts
