We are open on the main street today, start of our winter hours at the Temuka Saleyards Cafe, which means fortnightly Thursdays.
I was pleased to be able to support Theresa in her Scooter Safari ride, Christchurch to West Coast, they head away on Saturday, wishing her and her team a safe and joyful ride 😀

Some of what's been keeping me busy during April,

Back in the main cafe today,
The ever popular Macaroni Cheese is ready to go,
Try our new pie , Steak and Kiwi onion dip ,
As well as the other usuals,
Fresh Cream Horns, lamingtons and donuts too

Welcome to winter.
Soup is on,
Pumpkin today, pair it up with some of our cheese rolls, or one of our tasty savoury scones,
Anzac caramel tarts are new to the cabinet, in time for Anzac Day
Pie warmer has plenty of treats too.
And of course its Macaroni Cheese weather ,

We won't be opening til mid morning today, the parts have arrived for the coffee machine and the tech will be here first thing to fit them ,
It's been a long couple of days with no coffee 🤣🤣🤣
Also if you are picking up orders today, feel free to knock on the door , I am here baking etc 😀

Great people behind a great cause,

Its that time of year again!
The Love Grace Handbag Appeal is running from 14 Feb - 8 March. All handbags donated to Women's Refuge to bring a little bit of hope to women leaving domestic violence. Every year 1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence. Let's show them some love ❤️

Drop off is to Pinnacle Performance: 4 KING STREET. Between 14 Feb and 8 March.

Get your coworkers and social clubs together or make a girl's day of it shopping for the basics! If you dont wish to donate a complete Handbag then donations of bulk essential items are also appreciated to complete handbags that may be missing items prior to delivery to refuge are also greatly appreciated!

Bags can be in good second hand condition and must include the 6 essential items listed. No expired or half empty product (this happened a lot last year), and no food, alcohol, or other contraband.

Let's support women as they do one of the most difficult things in their life ❤️

Pam is now on her Xmas break 😃😃
We will be closed until Tuesday 10th February . In between a few days at the Temuka Saleyards Cafe I will get a couple of days sleep in and time to enjoy some sunshine hopefully .
