This one is a beauty

Damn, I should have turned this one around and used a better side 🤣🤣 bit crooked on the side piping, but it was a rushed order. Ordered at 12pm, started at 4pm, picked up at 6pm. Lucky I'd baked the wrong cake last week and had one sitting in the freezer for this amazing māmā and Nanny, who deserves the world (and a cake) on her birthday.

November/December available dates.
As usual, dark grey dates are unavailable. I either am away, have something on the night before, have a cake cart/market day or have a big order to fulfill.

I will be doing Christmas cupcakes this year, due on the 24th. Keep an eye out for the post for that next month.

I have a cake cart day at Maraehako Campground on the 13th December, as well as a Christmas Night Market at the Hub in Whakatāne on the 20th December.

November is filling up very quickly!! Still a few spots available though, as well as for December. If you've forgotten to book for a special birthday or event, this is your sign to do it now.

Im also taking bookings for 2028, and already have quite a few. Always good to get in early. If you book early, I do get in touch closer to the date to see if you're still wanting your order and never fussed if you need to cancel. But, at least if you're booked, you can avoid disappointment.

I won't be able to take on any more orders for October.

Sonic cake! I've been wanting to do a Sonic cake for ages!

This cake was for a return to work for Mark, who broke his ankle! And yep, his cast was multi coloured, so his wife wanted to recreate it.

Canberra raiders and Queensland Maroons fan 21st cake went out last week, along with matching cupcakes

The Whakatāne night market at the Hub last night was absolutely fire 🔥 This was when it was quiet! I had queues of people lining up, and I sold out!
96 cupcakes and 50 build your own, all gone in 3.5hrs

Thank you Whakatāne! I loved the whole vibe, the different food trucks, the music and artist singing, the different stalls with amazing crafts. I will 100% be up for another.

Hard to tell in a photo, but this cake is about 70cm long, 28cm wide, and 16cm tall! Celebrating Te Whānau a Apanui Kapa Haka's 40th birthday!
It was a massive cake! One side was chocolate and the other was vanilla.

Every flower is made with buttercream and the birthday lady's husband (yes! Her husband ordered this!) Wanted it to represent her incredible wedding bouquet. I think it's the biggest bouquet ive ever seen, but I tried to capture as many of the flowers as I could.

Takaro Tribe! Love how i was able to match the buttercream to the chocolate drip.
