A lot can happen over 15 years... especially when it comes to wine.
Since the day we opened, we've been proud of our wine list that's been carefully chosen, not just filled with familiar labels.
One of the people who's been on that journey with us from the very beginning is Sonja from Negociants NZ. She's helped us discover new wines, learn about different styles, and build a list we're proud to pour.
Our front of house team recently got together with Sonja for a wee tasting. There were plenty of “yummmms”, a couple of questionable tasting faces, and a great chance for the team to learn more about the wines we’re recommending to our customers.
This month's wine specials are two fantastic drops from Saint Clair:
Saint Clair Barrique Sauvignon Blanc 2021
$15 per glass | $73 per bottle
Not your typical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Barrel fermentation gives this wine a richer, smoother style with beautiful texture while still keeping those fresh citrus and fruit flavours.
Saint Clair Pioneer Block Pinot Noir 2022
$16 per glass | $78 per bottle
A beautifully balanced Pinot Noir with ripe berry fruit, subtle spice and a silky finish. A great match for these cooler evenings.
