Meet Pablo from Meat N Yarn 🔥
One of the newest food trucks to join our market, and already becoming a weekly favourite.
For Pablo, starting Meat N Yarn is a dream come true. He always wanted to open a food truck here in New Zealand and bring the flavours of Argentina to this side of the world.
Back home, food trucks like this are part of everyday life, and when he started missing those flavours, and home, he decided to create it here in his now home, with his family in the sunny Bay of Plenty.
His love for cooking started with his grandad, who taught him everything about a proper Asado. How to start the fire, how to know when the food is ready without a thermometer, and all the little secrets that make a good BBQ so special.
Pablo’s favourite thing on the menu is the Milanesa, the chicken schnitzel, because it is the flavour he grew up with. A classic Argentinian dish, packed with flavour and made with a lot of love.
And honestly, that is exactly what we love about our market. Behind every stall is a story, a family, and someone brave enough to bring a piece of themselves to the community.
We love having Pablo and Meat N Yarn with us at Pāpāmoa Community Market.
Come and say hello this Sunday, and if you haven’t tried them yet, this might be your sign.
