This piece was originally designed for kitchen utensils, but we’ve always loved seeing it filled with flowers, or just sitting pretty on your shelf.

As JS Ceramics continues to evolve, so is our colour collection. Pink sand is being retired to make way for whats’s next ~ so these will be the last available.

Thank you to everyone who has loved pink sand over the years! x

Our original mug design and still a favourite.

Handmade in Matua from our own clay/porcelain mix. We’ve left part of the exterior unglazed, revealing the texture and specks of foraged Coromandel sand that makes every mug unique.

Made to be an everyday fav. x

A little kiln magic. Swipe for before and after.

The first photo shows these mugs freshly glazed, the second is the finished result after firing to temperature.

It’s always amazing to see how much changes in the process, the glaze develops its true colour and finish, and the clay shrinks as it matures in the kiln.

Kiln openings are always the exciting bit of the job!

Our handcrafted small plate is a useful little thing ~ pair it with one of our mugs and add your favourite biscuit, or it could be a spot for treasured little bits and pieces.

Each dish is handmade from our sandy oatmeal clay and finished in a soft satin glaze, the bottom is unglazed ~ revealing the texture of the clay and speckles of coromandel sand. 15x1.5cm. As always, very limited numbers available. x

A week away with all the family = cup filled. Now’s it’s back to chilly mornings in the studio, but I’m excited to get stuck in. Today’s first job was getting a bisque kiln on then making a batch of sage products. For all those that have been in touch about the sage butter dishes - they are underway! x

Our best-selling oil burner, the kind of thing you reach for on a grey winter’s day. Fill the dish with your favourite essential oil and a little water, or drop in a wax melt and let the warmth do its thing.

Handmade in Matua, or clay is speckled with foraged sand from the Coromandel. Available in Pink or Sage.

Our tapered mugs in moss with lilac handles are a customer favourite ~ we currently have a few left in stock on our website, but they won’t be around long, these will soon be discontinued to make way for new colours. xT
