This is a post we had hoped to never have to do…

Sadly this week marks the last week for Slab down here at Brook Street. Thank you all for the support over the last 5 years, it really has been an incredible journey, and we could’ve never done it without you all!

There is a silver lining in all this though, the brewery and Taproom will still be here for you to enjoy on your Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We are passing the keys on to our good friend who some of you already know, Ed Bolstad of he will be carrying on in our stead, and continuing with your favourite core range Slab beers as part of his Legacy Series.

You’ll still see Slab taps and Tins around while we work our way through the remaining stock.

As for this Friday, it will be your last chance to come by the Slab taproom and see Zach, Nathan, and Ethan pouring all that Slab goodness, before it becomes from next week onwards.

That said jump on over to and share that same support you’ve all given us over the last 5 years.

This Friday is back on board to feed you hungry lot.

They’ll. be down at the taproom setup and slinging TGA’s best from midday on Friday. So come on down and support the team while enjoying cold freshness on tap!

After an almost 2year hiatus, Heizu has come back!
Ethan’s Unfiltered Rice Lager is on tap now, and better than ever. With an addition of AAAHHHroma hops now giving it a light citrus hit, Heizu is more smashable that the first time around!

Get on down to the tap room to enjoy this fresh, now that we’ve got an actual summer!! 🍻

This Friday, we have the crew from here, slinging their tacos for all to enjoy!
Their pop-up will be running with us from 12pm until closing. We’ll have plenty of seating available throughout the service. Come on down and try the goods from these legends!!

We’re excited about being part of the iconic Premium Advent this year! We were excited to collab with our mate Ed from for a special one-off beer for the calendar.
We’ve thrown together an absolute crusher of a Belgian classic, a saison fit for a kiwi summer using new world hops and classic yeast.

We’ve managed to get a sneak peak at some of the other beers in the Advent and we’ve got some amazing box mates in there! An absolute crusher of an advent loaded with lots of exclusives from great independent breweries. They are shipping daily and we hear their stocks are very limited so act fast!
