After cold and wet passed it turned into a great afternoon at the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge. We pumped out a heap of our tasty Sockeye salmon burgers, Tacos and salmon pineapple skewers.
What a great effort by the folks that braved the cold and windy day, doing what they love and achieving a great goal.

It was a awesome day at the market. We sold out of absolutely everything and the chowder was a big hit.

Parasailors going all day. What a stunning view for a work day. The wild bear has great food too!

We will have available at Market Central Taupō Easter Sunday our fall and winter seafood chowder to help support and boost the immune system for winter and the cold months. Our chowder is a creamy, cream cheese based chowder. We make our own stock from Alaskan Dungeness crab shell and vegs.
Ingredients are:
Dungeness crab meat from two whole crabs, which shells were used in stock.
Wild Alaskan hot smoked salmon.
Wild Alaskan salmon chunks.
Baked crispy salmon bits and cloudy bay diamond shell clams.
Onion, garlic, red and green peppers, leeks, celery and a couple of other herb ingredients.
The chowder bowl will be topped with a spoon of Wild Alaskan lkura salmon roe " the best in the world " and served with a slice of butter fried sourdough.
And all made with passion and love.

Creamy and silky Sockeye salmon meaty salmonballs, cloudy bay clams, Dungeness crab, bacon and veg seafood chowder. Gluten free made with Dungeness crab shell stock. Topped with lkura salmon roe.
This is a really beautiful, meaty, tasty and immune boosting seafood chowder. It is so good. Will have this available over fall and winter at the market.

1.Wild salmon dumplings with Asian slaw
2. Wild salmon burgers
3. Wild salmon Tacos with Asian slaw and Avocado.
3. Wild crispy skin salmon and salad
4. Wild salmon cakes and salad.

Looking forward to our very first market day tomorrow at the Sunday Market Central Taupō. Its been a long time coming and the weather is looking beautiful.
Salmonbeary will be holding our sign. Salmonbeary has come all the way from Kodiak Alaska. He is the average size of a full grown Kodiak brown bear.
All our salmon is Wild, sustainable and healthy. It comes from the most well managed fisheries in the world and is 100% natural and wild. We have Keta salmon from the mighty Yukon River salmon run and Sockeye from the Bristol Bay Naknek river system. All salmon is sea run and ocean caught.
