Time Management in under a minute..
If you struggle with time management, especially with ADHD tendencies, stop trying to “just focus” and start building systems around your brain instead.
3 tactical things that genuinely help:
1. Visual cues > memory
Whiteboards, sticky notes, visual schedules, time blocks.
If you can’t see it, your brain forgets it exists.
2. Double the time you think a task takes
ADHD brains often stack tasks too tightly.
If you think something takes 30 mins, block 60 before adding another task after it.
Also block days for tasks where appropriate 🙏🏻
3. Remove ALL distractions before starting
Blank room.
Phone away.
Headphones on.
No notifications.
No visual clutter.
No looking outside.
Your environment either supports focus or destroys it.
I know this because I believe ADHD is in part my super power not a set back.
Create a system, stop creating a narrative that makes you a victim of circumstance. Its hard, its loud, its frustrating and I know you often feel like your brain wont switch off ... knowing this to be true I decide to use it vs shut it down 🧡
