Apparently putting out fires isn’t enough excitement for them… so they’re also trying to set your fridge on fire with quality meat trays 🔥🥩

Thanks everyone for the amazing response! 🙌
It’s been fantastic to see so many parents, friends, and young people reach out. We’re really encouraged by how many keen young ones want to learn and give it a go.
We’ve now selected our 6 candidates from all the messages and emails we received.
If you missed out this time, please don’t be disappointed — we’ll keep your details and add you to the waiting list for our next programme.
This is our first training programme, and our team will do their best to share as much knowledge and experience as they can. We’ll make sure there’s plenty of learning… and a few laughs along the way (no TikToks 🤣… okay, maybe just one).
We’ll be in touch with the successful candidates over the next few days via email, phone, or Facebook message.

Hey everyone 👋
We all know the job market is pretty tough right now. Most places are looking for experienced staff, which means a lot of keen young people and school kids are missing out on opportunities.
At Springfield Hotel, we want to change that.
We’re opening a small training programme for 4–6 motivated young people 14+ who are eager to learn hospitality skills. No experience needed — just a positive attitude and a willingness to turn up and give it a go.
What we’ll teach you:
• Knife skills & food prep
• Making pizza
• Basic cooking
• Kitchen hand duties
• Bar basics (if you’re interested)
Sessions will run for 2 hours a week, mainly in the evenings or on weekends (exact days/times to be confirmed).
After 3 months of consistent attendance, we’ll provide you with an experience letter and a reference that can help with future job applications.
The only condition? Show up reliably — think of it like your grandad never taking a day off 😉
We’d love to help the next generation build real skills… and who knows, one day you might even end up working with us at Springfield Hotel.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our last Quiz Night at the Springfield Hotel!
We had an fantastic turnout with 14 teams — it was wonderful to see the local community packed into the venue for a night filled with fun and laughter.
We’ve attached some photos from the night — what an amazing crowd!
All the money raised from our last two quiz nights has been donated to the Malvern Collie Club. A big thank you to everyone at the Malvern Collie Club for their fantastic work.

For the next two months, all funds raised will go to the Springfield School PTA. Please book your team now and get behind this great cause!
Our Quiz Night runs on the 4th Tuesday of every month!
