Now that we’ve got your attention… let’s talk about the job.
We’re an award-winning, high-volume café in Silverstream, Upper Hutt, and we’re on the hunt for a barista.
This isn’t just about making great coffee (although yes—you’ll be making the best in town, obviously). It’s about being part of a tight-knit team and creating the kind of atmosphere that keeps our regulars coming back every day.
You’ll thrive here if you:
• Can handle a fast-paced, high-volume environment without breaking a sweat
• Bring a bright, bubbly personality to every shift
• Enjoy a bit of banter and genuinely connecting with customers
• Take pride in consistently great coffee
• Experience is preferred, but not essential
What you’ll be doing:
• Dialling in and delivering top-quality coffee, every cup
• Keeping the flow smooth during busy rushes
• Jumping in with light food prep
• Being a key part of the vibe that makes this place special
The details:
• Around 29 hours per week over 4 days
• Early starts: 5:30am (2 days), 6:30am, and 7:00am
• The upside? You’re finishing early and getting your afternoons back
We’ll give you full training on our beans and approach so you can get the absolute best out of our high-quality Italian-style roast.
