After an incredible journey, it's time to say goodbye. ❤️
The final coffee has been poured, and it's time to close the doors at Piccalo Café.
Running a small hospitality business has always been a labour of love, but over the past few years the challenges have become greater than ever. Rising food costs, increasing wages, utilities, and the many behind-the-scenes expenses have made it incredibly difficult for independent cafés like ours to keep going.
This decision hasn't been made lightly. It's one filled with heartbreak, sleepless nights, and more tears than we'd like to admit.
To every customer who stopped in for a coffee, enjoyed breakfast or lunch in the Gardens, caught up with friends over brunch, grabbed something on the go, or simply chose to support us instead of somewhere else... thank you. Your support meant more than you'll ever know. We also understand that with the cost of living continuing to rise, eating out has become a luxury for many, so every visit truly made a difference. 🫶
