After an incredible journey, it's time to say goodbye. ❤️
The flame that fuelled Hello Stranger has finally burnt out.
Running a hospitality business has always been a labour of love, but over the past few years the challenges have become greater than ever. Rising food costs, increasing wages, higher rent, utilities, and the countless expenses behind the scenes have made it harder and harder for small, independent businesses to survive.
This decision hasn't been made lightly. It's one filled with heartbreak, sleepless nights, and more tears than we like to admit.
To every customer who grabbed a morning coffee, celebrated a special occasion, supported our gluten-free journey, got catering, shared a laugh with our team, or simply chose to walk through our doors instead of somewhere else... thank you! You kept us going far longer than you know, and with the cost of living increasing we fully understand that going out to eat is harder on the pocket, but thank you for supporting us when you could 🫶
Thank you, Rotorua, for letting us be part of your community. We hope our paths cross again one day. ❤️
