Poco is an intimate tapas restaurant in the heart of Rotorua. We are located at 1183 Arawa Street

Poco is a small tapas and w**e bar situated in the dining precinct of central Rotorua. The place to go in Rotorua for delicious small plates of food paired with a great w**e list in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Poco is about community, getting to know our customers and welcome them as family.

We're looking for some awesome humans to join our front of house team at Poco!

Spring is here and the busy season is just around the corner. We are hiring for more than one position and are keen to talk to people who:
⭐️ Have experience working front of house in a busy restaurant
⭐️ Are passionate about great customer service
⭐️ Are available to work evenings
⭐️ Have a positive, can-do attitude and are a team player
⭐️ Bar experience and w**e knowledge are a bonus
⭐️ Hold a current Managers Certificate also a bonus!

🌞 Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)
🌞 Hours negotiable
🌞 Guaranteed two days off and no split shifts (open Tuesday - Saturday from 4pm)

A hearty winter warmer for the colder months.
A medley of 3 different sautéed mushrooms, lamb merguez sausage, white beans and confit garlic, finished off in white w**e on a bed of Jerusalem artichoke puree.

Two of our most popular dishes at the moment and they go together perfectly.

Slow cooked harissa rubbed lamb, hummus, sumac onions, cumin, fresh herbs

Yoghurt flatbread, made daily in house and cooked on the grill brushed with herbs and olive oil

Perfect combo for the cooler weather and pairs well with our curated selection of red w**es.

Angie Atkinson, named as one of the Cuisine Magazine Top 50 Women in Food & Drink in 2026 🏆 is taking over our w**e list 🍷 for a night on Thursday 18 June. Angie is a certified sommelier, w**e writer and owner of Blanc Distribution - and a really great human!

Angie will create a bespoke w**e list, celebrating New Zealand female w**emakers she represents. She'll also do a signature cocktail 🍸with Meili vodka (yep, the Jason Momoa one 😄).
