Qiong and Kay are signing off!

Thanks to all of you for visiting us one last time (or quite a few times this week), calling in to wish us the best, and for your lovely gifts. Kay says this means he doesn't have to buy Qiong flowers or chocolates from now on (like he ever does).

We also want to thank Jayde and Naquita who have worked with us for 3+ years, and all the rangatahi who have put in the hard mahi with us over the years, while teaching Qiong and Kay English.

Thank you all for trusting us to make your kai.

Over the next 3 weeks, there will be one of us here to support the new owners, then we'll both be putting our feet up!

As we may be very busy over the coming 4 days, please call in early. We want to make sure you get delicious kai from us one last time without an unexpected delay.
Kay especially is looking forward to putting his feet up!

Kia ora koutou

Thank you all for your support over the last 26 years.

We've been wanting to retire to slow down and spent time with whanau. We're pleased to share that new owners are taking over later this month.

You may have seen Ying already training with us over the past month, and her husband Hai Peng is a Chinese cuisine chef.

We're all working hard to ensure a seamless transition, and to deliver the same tasty recipes you're all familiar with. We're also pleased that existing staff will also remain.

Again, we can't thank you enough for your aroha and support over the years. As this business has provided for our whanau, we hope the same for the new owners.

Our last day as owners is Sunday 14th Sep, we look forward to seeing you and please continue to support Golden Dragon.

Kia ora koutou we will be closed for Matariki next Friday 20 June and Saturday 21 June to make the most of time with our whānau. We will reopen the Sunday 22 June but closed as usual Monday 23 June with usual opening hours thereafter. We hope you all enjoy the upcoming public holiday.

Kia ora koutou we will be closed over Easter from next week Friday 18th through to Monday 21st to spend time with our tamariki and mokopuna. We'll be reopening on Tuesday 22nd. Thank you for the aroha and have a good Easter 🙏

Kia ora koutou. It's almost Xmas and we'll be closed Monday 23rd through to Monday 30th December for some quality whānau time. All 3 tamariki are back with our 3 mokopuna. It's going to be a full house. We'll be reopening Tuesday 31 December 2024. Thank you for the aroha and support this year, it's been a long one. 🙏

Kia ora thank you for all your aroha and support, we are very thankful for your understanding. Qiong is well but needs a longer recovery time so we have to delay our reopening day.
