The Round Tent is a boutique camping experience in a Mongolian yurt. The luxury campsite has been designed for relaxation and romance in a unique setting.

The chic retreat is 8 minutes drive from Raglan just off the main road when driving in. In a rural setting with a backdrop of established trees and a willow lined pond this is a getaway like no other. This is th

e camping holiday you have always craved but we’ve thought of everything. We’ve tailor made a glamp site for people to take the ultimate break and unwind with features like an outdoor fire, a stone bath under the stars and the treat of watching movies under canvas. Come rain or shine the spacious 7m-diameter yurt is a super comfortable space to hang out in with every last detail sorted including all your technology requirements. A generous deck and fire pit compliment the tent but on a rainy day there is nothing more soothing than feeling cocooned inside the yurt with the sound of rain on your canvas roof. An easy walk down the road is the famous Raglan Roast coffee shop and the old Te Uku store where you can pick up basis supplies. In Raglan there are a number of great cafes and restaurants but there are cooking facilities at the round tent including a bbq should you want to park up and disconnect from the world for day or two. This is glamping at it’s best with an extra dose of glamour and style.

The Round Tent - Raglan is opening again and accepting guests in level 2. We are offering mid week getaways at reduced rates. A lovely rural spot to escape to for a change of scene and well cosy with the heatpump.
