This month, during MGallery Heritage Days, we celebrate the rich history of Hotel St Moritz and the distinct features that make us unique and memorable.
Take our lady in the black coat, for example - the lithograph placed at the bottom of the stairs in the lobby. She has welcomed every guest who has walked through our doors since the hotel first opened as a Novotel Suites back in 1998.
But our physical features are only one part of the story. It's the characters - our guests, our team, our regulars - who bring St Moritz to life. This is a place where life's milestones happen and stories unfold: proposals, marriages, anniversaries, birthdays. And just as often, we've been a place of sanctuary and comfort for those navigating some of life's more challenging times.
Take a glimpse back through the archives. These photographs transport us to an earlier chapter of Hotel St Moritz - familiar in some ways, almost unrecognisable in others.
The rooms have changed. The interiors have been reimagined. Styles have come and gone. But outside those windows the mountains haven't moved.
