What a difference a week makes! We are fully booked tonight team sorry with a large private function in the bar and garden bar and the restaurant booked full!

Fathers Day lunch tomorrow is also fully booked but we do have some space in the Garden Bar in the evening if would like to book in just give us a call 068447206

👩‍🚒 MEET THE BRIGADE — MACY PENN

Meet firefighter Macy Penn! 🚒

Macy has been part of the Taradale Volunteer Fire Brigade for 1 year and 3 months and she’s loving every minute of it!

When she’s not in the fire truck, you’ll usually find her in the kitchen 👩‍🍳 Macy works as a chef at The Puketapu, and is lucky enough to have a schedule that allows her to respond to calls when she can, whether that’s during the day or in the middle of the night.

A huge thank you to The Puketapu for supporting Macy and giving her the flexibility to volunteer alongside her job! 🙌

So, why did she join?

Honestly… she wanted to be in the rush of it all and, of course, to help people! 🔥

Growing up, Macy always wanted to be a first responder of some sort, so finding her way to the Taradale Volunteer Fire Brigade felt like the perfect fit.

And being part of something that’s pretty male dominated is nothing new for Macy! She grew up doing speedway, so she’s no stranger to holding her own in a male-dominated environment. 😏🏁

We are HIRING! Experienced FOH and Kitchen

We are on the lookout for a Duty Manager who has ambition to grow and possibly step into a Bar Manager role in time. Must be over 20 years old and previous Hospitality experience

We are also looking for a Senior Chef/Cook to join our Kitchen team.

SOLD OUT TONIGHT! We will unfortunately have no door sales and with the restaurant also fully booked we won't be taking any more dinner bookings.

Plenty of space on Saturday and Sunday though for you to come on in :)

If you have tickets make sure you look the part as we will be having spot prizes for best dressed, best rides and most entertaining.
