I knew it would be a big moment when I eventually switched off the huge fridge and freezer in my bakery. Suddenly, it's all very real. I suppose you've wondered why I've been so quiet. Really, I haven't known what to say.

But I'm still a ways away from that last post. I've been sorting out all my goodies, which is like moving house! And if you know me, you know I like moving about as much as I like running. NOT! Once all is sold and cleared out, I'll say goodbye. But I'm just not ready!

I love the icon I chose for this classic shortbread.
One of my favourite paintings!

The Moorish Prince features a dramatic strip of dark chocolate that complements the classic pure shortbread. With this elegant contrasting addition, it might even be better than the original. What do you think?
