Pokeno Café By Day is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for an individual who takes pride in creating high-quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Position: Full-Time Chef

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
* Assisting with menu planning and seasonal specials
* Maintaining food quality, presentation, and consistency
* Managing food preparation and kitchen operations
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
* Working collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen teams

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Chef in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment
* Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Understanding of food safety and health regulations
* Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
