We've had a great vacation visiting family and friends in Canada. We're well rested relaxed and looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!

So this happened, Salted Caramel not only won a gold medal this year at the New Zealand Spirits Awards, but we took home the trophy for best overall in category!!! We are so happy!!! Thanks to everyone who believed in us and supported us. Your belief in us definitely inspires us to do our best!

Woooo super congrats to Steven Askew and myself. Once again our hard work has brought a reward. 3 of our vodka have won a nod at the NZ Spirit Awards. For the second year in a row GOLD for our Salted Caramel with a chance to win the category awards. SILVER for our Peppercorn and BRONZE for our Ginger vodka. Not too shabby for our little production. 💕🎉💖🥳💕🎊

We're sending a bunch of meals to our Neonatal families before we go on holiday. I've made sweet chili chicken, Asian mixed vegetables and rice with a ginger sauce. Many thanks to Paul and Linda Lawrence and Marge Mastalski for their generous donations. Also, thank you to a James and Bernie for their honey donation. Did you know that we did not get a Michelin nod 😱 I know, shock horror, our little place in the burbs... anyways what does that mean for our customers???? Absolutely nothing!! You still get the same great service and food. You still need to reserve a few weeks ahead, especially on weekends. Actually, it means we won't be raising our prices to reflect a nod. See you soon. It's cold! We're outta here 🤣 We're taking a winter vacation. It's been more than 10 years since I've seen my family in Canada so, it's time for a bit of family time. We'll be closed from Aug 5th through Sept 9th. We'll be taking reservations during this time and will be rested and ready for service September 9th. Hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone.
