MARLBOROUGH MT EVEREST CHALLENGE 2026 🏔️

We’re getting the Seumus’ Irish Bar team together again - and we’d love to make it even bigger this year!

For the last few years, we’ve taken on the Mt Everest Challenge as a team, and it’s become such a good way to get outside, meet some different people and have a bit of fun heading into summer.

It’s super social and absolutely no pressure. Do your climbs when it suits you, head out on your own, grab a mate, or join us for some group walks. Being part of the team just means you’ve got a bit of extra support and encouragement along the way - and you don’t have to conquer Everest entirely by yourself!

This year we’ll organise a few group walks, plus the very important after-walk drink 🍻☘️

Last year our Irish Bar crew even came away with an award for the most height climbed - so who knows what we can tick off together this year!

After seeing so many of you dressed up, having a laugh and getting amongst it at The Irish last night, we figured there was no better time to remind you that the biggest dress-up night of the year is coming.

Mr and Mrs Mackay travelled all the way from Masterton to celebrate Mrs Mackay’s 75th birthday with dinner at Seumus' Irish Bar Picton, NZ ☘ 🎉

They caught the ferry to Picton specifically, joined us for dinner, then head home on the ferry today.

We absolutely love this and feel very honoured that you chose to celebrate such a special birthday with us.
