Getting ready to pack down for the last time (for the foreseeable future) at the lovely cafe we built in Petone. Who’d have known we’d have two and a bit years of COVID and disruption, but also, who’d have foreseen how well our customers would cope with all the change, how loyal they’d be, and how resilient. It speaks volumes that our final weekend saw us sell out of EVERYTHING and people still streaming in for a final coffee. We’ve had the best suppliers, led by our coffee roasters , our cheese scones by and croissants by - these three suppliers alone have accounted for most of our turnover during this journey. We wanted to be the best and with these suppliers, we were. Thanks everybody, notwithstanding the gorgeous biscuits from , vegan donuts from , giant lamingtons from .and.sevens.deli, and all those bunches of dried flowers from and so many others.
