We went back to our Choice Pies Pie cart outside the Jolly Pub to give our friends an under the bench freezer for free Low and behold Karmel Deep the Jolly pub the lease holder on the Jolly approach us asking ask why we were here? We told him it’s none of your business we are just helping a friend out. Karmel Deep was persistence in reminding us in our post about Him refusing us a lease to continue our business. We posted the truth no lease no business what more can you say? This is the arrogance of this guy. He said that they were going to extend the pub and we were in the way of that we contacted the Dutch owner who said that this would happen now maybe in 5 years’ time if at all.
The point is that this local business has destroyed a family built business on the wim that he did not want us there, we were no competition as we serviced the college. We are now facing bankruptcy to loose everything we have worked for. We are a hard working family that has been unfairly dealt with. We thank you for all your support while we have been trading we appreciate all the support it will not be forgotten.

Choice As Pies has been granted our food licence this week!! We plan to start selling our Gourmet Pies on Wednesday 7th of August 2024. All orders will have to be made through our app which I will release tomorrow. You will be able to order fully cooked pies for your fridge and we will also be selling hot pies only through our app, all pies are to be collected at Kapiti Coast Airport.

Finally scrubbed the kitchen from top to bottom, the Food Licence was summited and we should be operational next week, we will keep you posted.
