We can’t quite believe we’re writing this but here goes…
2 weeks before our 4th year anniversary of opening The Common Room, we received the news that our lease is being terminated and that we need to be out of the premises by beginning of next month.
We are beyond devastated, shocked and just a little stressed as this news comes 1.5 months out from the due date of our baby.
We’re not too sure what this new road has in store for The Common Room. Our hearts are tender and we need some time to regroup, figure out a plan while most importantly, be present for our growing family.
But what we do know for certain is that the last 4 years of serving the beautiful people of the Kapiti coast has been an incredible joy and an epic journey. We have loved all of it - even through the craziness of covid.
We will miss serving your beautiful faces so much 🥹
We ask you one last time to come support us the best you can while we are still here. If you have vouchers, come and use them. If you have hugs, we will gladly receive them.
We will keep you posted about our final day of service at Paraparaumu Beach.
As always, we search for silver linings. We are working hard to keep our chins up and are actively looking for that other opening door…
