One Hat Again!

We are truly honoured to once again receive 1 hat from Cuisine magazine

A huge thank you to the team at Cuisine for continuing to recognise and support restaurants, chefs and hospitality teams right across New Zealand — from our larger cities to the regions and small communities that make our food scene so special.

For a small regional restaurant like Terra, this recognition means a lot. It’s wonderful to know that the hard work, passion and commitment of our team is being noticed and celebrated.

Thank you, Cuisine, for shining a light on restaurants up and down the country and helping showcase the incredible talent and produce we have here in Aotearoa.

And, of course, thank you to our amazing Terra team and guests for being part of our journey.

Terra and Schnappa Rock are teaming up for a one-night collaboration dinner at Schnappa Rock on Tuesday 15th September.

Marcus Berndt will join Dean Thompson in the Schnappa Rock kitchen, bringing the two restaurants together for a six-course tasting menu.

Terra is a Cuisine-hatted restaurant in Paihia with a strong focus on modern dining and showcasing the produce of the Far North.
Both Terra and Schnappa Rock are proud advocates for Northland and share a love for showcasing the great produce, food, and people we have up here.

Mothers Day 2026
Celebrate Mother’s Day with us this year — we’ll be open for a special lunch service featuring our updated Autumn menu, showcasing the best seasonal flavours.

Join us from 11:30am and treat Mum to a relaxed and memorable afternoon. As a little extra thank you, all mums will receive a complimentary Mother’s Day cocktail on the day.

Bookings are recommended to avoid missing out. Please note we will be open for lunch only and closed for dinner.
