I took these photos mid week. There are somethings you never expect to see at your business. Like a digger sitting on a mound of dirt on the back door step.

Arc Asbestos Removal have continued working hard throughout the week. Your team is amazing 👏

We continue to wait patiently and prepare in the background for the day we can re open. As soon as I get the word you will know 🙃

We had to have our Donut Thursday down the road today 😁🥰

Work has begun

And it's a fantastic sight to see the guys out there. It's gotta be hard work in those suits all day long.

It isn't a straight forward process either. Part of the remidal work is dependant on the weather. There is also a lot of sampling and testing that happens along the way.

So what does this all mean time frame wise?

It means we have to be patient. Ideally we'd like to be back at the Shack at the start of September but there are no guarantees.

I'm taking this as a sign, a sign to have a holiday. Over the 6 and half years of owning the Shack my time off has often been because I've been sick or injured.

So I'm going to enjoy my sleep ins, get crafty and make things and take a breather.

And as soon as I can say we're back in action you will be first to know 🫂 💕

I wish I could provide you all with a positive update or even a time frame. But I am at the mercy of others.

The media release stated work was meant to start yesterday. But there were no signs of life nor are there any today. So I just have to wait and see what next brings.

This is a very important up date. The Shack is closed until further notice.
