You may have noticed it has been a bit quiet here recently…

As some of you know and some may not, in February I started a Bachelor of Culinary Arts - all based online through Otago campus. I have slowly been ticking away, completing this degree doing 6 papers - 5 of which at a level 7.

I am now on my second to last paper with my finish date being in November! I have been taking some more time out recently to complete my biggest paper of the course!

If I have missed a message, been closed on a Friday with no desserts, or have been unable to cater for you, this may be the reason!

I am very much getting ready for another busy summer! As always, I appreciate the support, encouragement and kind words from everyone. 💛

Taking a moment to reflect, it’s crazy to see where I was 6 years ago!

I have learnt so much in the last 6 years! 11 months after this first ever cake, I started The Hungry Giraffe! To have the support and community behind me, from the very start has meant so much!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people and I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me in any way!

We are looking forward to the next 6 years to see where we may be.

Again, thank you for your support! It means the world 💛
