What a glorious celebration of community spirit at the FIKA community high tea luncheon at the Ohinemuri Club last Saturday! Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to each and every one of you who attended and played a pivotal role in making this event a resounding triumph. Thanks to your collective efforts, we've triumphantly raised $400 for the Ohinemuri Club Maintenance and Development Fund and another $800 for Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ.

Our sincerest appreciation extends to all who supported our raffles, the Ohinemuri Club for graciously allowing us to use their premises, and our incredible sponsors Valley Funeral Services, Pam and Mike D, Bev S, Jan and Ian M, Cindy L for their remarkable contributions to our raffle prizes. You've all embodied the true spirit of community and generosity, inspiring us all to make a difference.

A special thank you to our extraordinary team - Allan and Gail J, Jeanette M, Eddie, and Cindy L, who worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience. Kudos to Allen J for his outstanding work as our MC, and quiz and auction master. Thank you Monika, for giving us a talk about her charity, Children in Care (Thames), and Nurse Emma for sharing the ins and outs of prostate cancer. We're also deeply grateful to Rangi for sharing his remarkable musical talent with us.

As we look forward to our next FIKA High Tea on 3 October 2026, let's continue spreading love, kindness, and compassion through our community events. Wishing you a truly blessed week ahead. 🥰❤️💐🌻
