Hellloo!

Well it’s been a minute since I’ve been on here! And lot has been going on with me in the background.

I’ve made the decision not to “reopen” The Cicada Kitchen this year. Not a choice made on a whim but one I’ve considered for a little while. You’ll find more about the why below in the comments, but in case you don’t make it that far….

I just wanna say the biggest heartfelt thank you to each and every person who made an order in the last 2.5+ years. And to those regulars who ordered each week, I am beyond grateful for you and your support. Thank you so so much!! I’ll likely keep the page running with some food content, maybe even recipes if I can get on to that!

Back into lunches mode this week, and it’s gunna be my LAST run of the year!! My focus until Christmas is getting our Studio 84 website/online store up and running so I am making that the work priority.

Anyho, all the more reason to get ya lunch on Friday! I have two slice options this week just coz …..

Hey guys - I’m not available for lunches this week and next sorry!

All going to plan there will be a couple more deliveries before the school holidays though. And there will be a lil bita sweet stuff from me in amongst the goodies at the night market next weekend - come along!!

It’s a heavy time of year, for everyone, for lots of different reasons. Let’s look after ourselves and each other, and remember we’re all just out here doing our best at making it up as we go ✌🏼

Super excited we are hosting a night market over this month! Please come down and check it out 🤍

Don’t think I’ll have salads there - wary of overcommitting when this is kinda a huge deal event for us - but def a few sweet treats at the studio store!

Ooo it’s been an age since I’ve made this one! If you haven’t had raw asparagus in a salad before you’ve been missing out! And now it’s in season, it’s on…this Friday….

Love hearing how people enjoy their salads - ordering two to enjoy with a friend, a little Friday treat for themselves, adding something extra and making it a super easy Friday dinner! How good would this beetroot salad be with a lil slow cooked lamb on the side 🤤!
