olvement in various destinations across the globe. A true visionary, Peter saw the potential of the small town of Lawrence and his entrepreneurial attitude and unique outlook on life have shaped much of The Wild Walnut's philosophy. Although Peter became tragically ill and passed away in 2005, his legacy lives on; Peter's daughter, Sue and her husband Jim, along with their team, commitment endless energy and enthusiasm to continuing Peter's work. The friendly warmth of the team, their delicious café style treats and tasty bottled preserves have cemented The Wild Walnut with its iconic, well-loved status in the community of Lawrence.
