The change of season is on us and that means it's soup time! Currently we have delicious pumpkin and kumara (df, v). If you're feeling under the weather, our ginger, lemon and honey drink is bound to make you feel better!
We also have platters from lunchtime on Friday!

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the Pink Ribbon all day breakfast! We had some donations made directly to the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation and our contribution will be approximately $900.
A massive thank you to Carolynne, Claire, Kurt, Dawn, Krystal and Jona (and Glenn from West Auckland Wood Turners) for their hard work and without whom this would not have been possible.

We are delighted to share our partnership with Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education to provide meaningful work experience for talented young people in our community.

This term, we’re proud to host two incredible students who are honing their skills and bringing fresh energy to our space:
On Wednesdays we have Zenos and Thursdays, Jona.

Support a local business that supports local talent. Stop by, grab your favorite brew, and help us celebrate the hard work and bright futures of these students. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, there’s a seat (and a smile) waiting for you.

It's that time of year....Kids have finished school and we're staring down the barrel of 2026.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone for your amazing support this year!
We couldn't have done it without some key people - Carolynne, Quentin, Claire, Maddie, Tammy, Talie, Dawn, Anna, Krystal, Kurt, Bryce, Carol, Lisa, Kelly, Lauren, Trelise, Chris, our fab club committee and anyone else who has jumped behind the counter to serve, do dishes, deliver food, support me in general. Carolynne and Krystal for their phenomenal baking!
We have the most wonderful community and I'm so grateful every day to be a part of it. Of course, there's no OBC Cafe and Oratia Bowling Club without the support of people coming in, so thank you for coming in, hanging out, laughing with us and helping to foster connection for everyone.
