🌟 Local Attraction Spotlight – Paeroa Historical Maritime Park & Museum 🌟

As the Visitor Information Centre for the Hauraki District, we love sharing local experiences—and today we discovered a real gem!

We had the pleasure of visiting the Paeroa Historical Maritime Park & Museum and taking the river cruise, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The museum is full of fascinating local history, and the peaceful cruise along the Waihou and Ohinemuri Rivers was both relaxing and educational.

This is a wonderful outing for families, visitors, and locals alike. The kids will love exploring the museum, and there's so much to learn about the rich maritime history of our region.

If you're looking for something different to do in Hauraki, we highly recommend adding this to your list. They also cater for theme birthday parties for kids. A big thank you to the wonderful team at the Paeroa Historical Maritime Park & Museum for such a memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

The Ngatea woman graduated from the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) on May 21 with a Bachelor of Applied Social Work, a year shy of her 50th birthday. And having thoroughly impressed her lecturers, she was also chosen to give the valedictory speech.
